Acceptable use

Practising conversation, rehearsing a real situation, and building confidence in speaking Swedish on your own account, at your own pace.

Sharing an account, impersonating someone else, submitting another person's sensitive information, attempting to extract system instructions, automated or bulk use, and any use intended to harass, defraud or harm.

Kompis must not be used to make decisions about a person: hiring, assessment, grading, discipline or benefits. It is practice, not measurement of an individual.

Kompis is not a crisis service. If something a participant says suggests immediate danger, Kompis points to real help. In Sweden, call 112 in an emergency, or 1177 for healthcare advice.

We may pause an individual account. Where an organisation runs the programme, we tell the contact person what happened at a level that does not expose the participant's conversations.

Tell us at hello@kompis.site. That includes security issues: describe what you found and give us a reasonable window to fix it before making it public.
