Terms of use

Kompis is a conversational practice tool for spoken Swedish. It is intended as rehearsal alongside teaching and everyday life, not as a substitute for SFI, a teacher, or formal certification.

Kompis is not a medical, legal, financial or emergency service and must not be relied on as one. In an emergency in Sweden, call 112.

Kompis is currently offered through organisations. Access is personal, granted for the duration of a programme, and may not be shared with others.

Kompis uses language models and can be wrong. Treat what it says as practice material rather than authoritative advice, and check anything that matters with a person.

What you say and write stays yours. We process it to run and evaluate the service as described in the Privacy Notice, and we do not use it to train models.

Kompis is early-stage software. We may change, pause or withdraw features, and we will tell partner organisations in advance where a change affects a running programme.

To the extent permitted by Swedish law, Kompis is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.

Swedish law applies. Disputes are handled by the Swedish courts, with Lund District Court as the first instance.
